Fraser Valley Fusion 2002A managed through a push by Vancouver Wildcats 2003A in the sixth inning where Fusion coughed up three runs, but Fusion still won 6-3 to advance to Monday's quarter final at the Pride & Power Tournament in Surrey BC.
Fusion got things moving in the first inning. Brooklyn Morrison hit a solo homer. Fusion scored three runs in the third inning. Shaneika Hollingworth and Carlie Lawrence each had RBIs in the big inning. Kallie Henrotte was the winning pitcher for Fusion. She went six innings, allowing three runs on seven hits, striking out two and walking one. Fusion launched two home runs on the day. Lawrence had a four bagger in the third inning.
