In the first inning, Fusion got their offense started. Mya Galbraith doubled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run. Shaneika Hollingworth was credited with the victory for Fusion. She surrendered two runs on seven hits over four innings, striking out five and walking one. Rachel Brissette, Galbraith, and Brooke De Jonge each collected one hit to lead Fraser Valley Fusion 2002A to victory and to earn a spot in the semi final.
