Fraser Valley Fusion 2002A faced off against White Rock Renegades 2003A on Friday at Langley Fastball Association's U16 Tournament played at Noel Booth Park.
​Shaneika Hollingworth had all the right stuff on Friday for Fusion, allowing zero runs and besting White Rock Renegades by a score of 2-0 The pitching was strong on both sides. Hollingworth struck out 14, while Anna Rudetsky sat down three. A single by Kaitlyn Lawrence in the fifth inning was a positive for White Rock Renegades. Hollingworth pitched Fusion to victory. She lasted seven innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out 14 and walking one. Hollingworth went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Fusion in hits and earned the game MVP Award.
