Big Third Inning Propels Fraser Valley Fusion 2002A Win Over Lady Osprey 18U At Triple Crown Sport's Valley Invite In Hillsboro Oregon
Fusion knocked in five runs in the third on its way to a 9-1 victory over Lady Osprey on Saturday. The offensive onslaught by Fusion was led by Mya Galbraith, Nicole Sparrow, Kallie Henrotte, and Madison MacGillivray, all knocking in runs in the inning. Fusion got on the board in the first inning. Galbraith drove in one when she doubled. Fraser notched five runs in the third inning. Galbraith, Sparrow, Henrotte, and MacGillivray each drove in runs during the inning. Lindsay Bell earned the win for Fraser Valley Fusion. She surrendered one run on six hits over five innings, striking out four and walking one. Galbraith led Fusion with three hits in three at bats.
