Fraser Valley Fusion 02A 16U got of to a good start at the Acer's Northwest Classic 16UA/18UA tournament in Kent, Washington.
NW Elite scored three unearned runs in the second inning, but Fusion came back to win 4-3 on Saturday. Fusion opened up scoring in the first inning. Mya Galbraith drove in one when she singled. Fusion pulled away for good with three runs in the second inning. In the second Brooklyn Morrison was hit by a pitch, driving in a run and Brooke De Jonge grounded out, scoring two runs. ![]()
Lindsay Bell took the win for Fusion. She surrendered three runs on three hits over five innings, striking out four.
