Lindsay Bell didn't allow a single run as Fraser Valley Fusion 2002A defeated Langley Xtreme 2000 8-0 in the first game of a doubleheader on Tuesday at Noel Booth Park, Langley. Bell allowed just four hits.
Fraser Valley Fusion 02A fired up the offense in the first inning, when Brooke De Jonge scored on a dropped third strike to Nicole Sparrow. Madison MacGillivray scored on a passed ball and Mya Galbraith hit an in the park home run to give Fraser Valley Fusion 2002A a three run lead. 
Fraser Valley Fusion 02A 16U notched another three runs in the fourth inning. The big inning was thanks to a triple by Izzy Nicholson and an error on a ball put in play by Maile Johnson.
Bell was the winning pitcher for Fraser Valley Fusion 02A. She surrendered zero runs on four hits over five innings, striking out eight. Fraser Valley Fusion 02A 16U tallied one home run on the day.
